You can return goods to Eldorado if the deadlines established for returns have not passed. If the client participates in the “Easy to choose - easy to exchange!” promotion, extended return and exchange periods have been established for equipment without defects. Return of quality goods
The Eldorado store gives customers the opportunity to return equipment of proper quality under the “Easy to choose - easy to change!” within 30 calendar days from the date of purchase. It runs from 07/01/2013 to 12/31/2020, extension is possible.
To return or exchange a promotional item, you must meet several conditions:
- The equipment was purchased with cash, a bonus card, and paid for with a bank card. A combination of several methods is possible.
- The product is in good condition, its normal appearance, technical properties, and seals are preserved.
- There is a cash or sales receipt.
- The warranty card has not been completed. In this case, the return is carried out only under warranty, and the consumer has no right to participate in the promotion.
- The equipment was not connected, the software was not installed. For example, the initial installation of the OS on a tablet or smartphone was not carried out.
Separate rules are established for the return of large equipment (washing machines, electric stoves, etc.). Once delivered to the buyer, it can be exchanged, but only if it has not yet been installed and the original packaging has been preserved. The consumer arranges delivery to the store independently. If the product has chips or scratches, this is grounds for refusal of return.

Note! If the buyer does not participate in the promotion, on the basis of Art. 25 of the Law of 02/07/1992 No. 2300-1, he has the right to return high-quality equipment within 14 days from the date of purchase. This is possible if you didn’t like the product, it didn’t fit the shape, configuration, size, or dimensions.
How to exchange goods at Eldorado
The right to return purchased goods is enshrined in the Law of the Russian Federation of 02/07/1992 N 2300-1 “On the Protection of Consumer Rights” (hereinafter referred to as the Law of the Russian Federation) and the Civil Code of the Russian Federation.
The reason to return/exchange an item may be:
- discrepancy between prices on the sales floor and at the checkout;
- presence of defects in the purchased product;
- incomplete equipment;
- complaints about the quality of the goods.
Exchange of goods of good quality
Article 25 of Chapter 2 of the PZPP establishes the buyer’s right to exchange goods of proper quality:
“The consumer has the right to exchange a non-food product of proper quality for a similar product from the seller from whom this product was purchased, if the specified product is not suitable in shape, dimensions, style, color, size or configuration. The consumer has the right to exchange within fourteen days, not counting the day of purchase.”
Exchange terms:
- this product has not been used;
- its presentation, consumer properties, seals, factory labels have been preserved;
- the product does not belong to the category of technically complex goods and is not included in the list of products not subject to exchange/return;
- The warranty card is not filled out
If the warranty card is filled out, the buyer loses the right to exchange/return the product for which there are no complaints about the performance.

According to Art. 18 clause 5 of the PPA:
The consumer's absence of a cash or sales receipt or other document certifying the fact and conditions of purchase of the goods is not grounds for refusal to satisfy his requirements.
Acting within the framework of “List No. 55”, approved by Government Decree dated January 19, 1998, the Eldorado store does not accept for exchange/return goods belonging to one of these groups:
- personal hygiene products (toothbrushes, razors, epilators, hair dryers, curling irons, electric curlers, etc.);
- digital SLR cameras and interchangeable lenses for them;
- goods in disposable packaging (if its integrity is damaged);
- software, games, films, music (recorded discs);
- household chemicals;
- large household appliances after delivery to the buyer’s address.
Exchange of large household appliances after delivery to the buyer is possible only on the condition that the equipment was not installed, is in the original packaging, and the buyer independently delivers it to the store. In this case, any damage, scratches, chips may be grounds for refusal of exchange.
If the seller agrees to exchange the product for a similar model, but the product is currently out of stock, the consumer may refuse the purchase and demand a refund of the amount of money paid for the specified product. Such a requirement must be satisfied within three days from the date of return of the specified goods. For each day of delay, the Eldorado store must pay a penalty of 1% of the purchase price.
The buyer also has the right to exchange the product for a similar one when it first goes on sale.
How to return low-quality goods to Eldorado
When purchasing a product of inadequate quality, the buyer's actions will depend on the severity of the defects and the time they were discovered. According to Art. 18 of the PZPP in such a situation, one of the following requirements can be presented to the seller:
- Free elimination of defects or reimbursement of expenses to the buyer in case of repairs performed at the expense of third parties
- Discount.
- Replacement with a similar product from the same manufacturer.
- Replacement with a product from another company.
- Returning goods and receiving money for them.
Depending on the situation, during the warranty period or expiration date, the buyer can act according to the algorithm.
Requirements cannot be satisfied in the following cases:
- the breakdown occurred due to the fault of the buyer or the actions of third parties;
- Disadvantages were noted at the time of sale.
Rules for returning technically complex goods
In relation to technically complex goods, the requirements specified in Art. 18 must be presented within 15 days. After this period, these requirements must be satisfied in one of the following cases:
- detection of a significant defect in the product;
- violation of the established deadlines for eliminating product defects;
- impossibility of using the product during the warranty period in total of more than 30 days due to repeated elimination of its various deficiencies.
The list of goods classified as technically complex was approved by Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of November 10, 2011 N 924.
If the equipment was purchased on credit
A buyer participating in the promotion and purchasing equipment on credit can exchange it for a similar product of the same group within 30 days , subject to the conditions presented above.
If you need to return the money, everything will depend on several circumstances:
- The loan is closed. You need to get a debt repayment certificate from the bank and submit it to the bank. If the equipment is faulty, the principal cost and overpaid interest will be returned. Interest is not refunded on defective items.
- The loan is open. It is necessary to order a certificate from the bank about completed payments and the balance of debt, then contact Eldorado to cancel the purchase and sale agreement. After this, the loan agreement with the bank is closed.

Which product without defects cannot be returned?
Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated January 19, 1998 No. 55 defines a list of quality goods that cannot be returned under any circumstances.

- Household chemicals;
- Games on discs, software, films, music;
- Electric and other toothbrushes, hair dryers, curlers, curling irons, and other personal hygiene items.
Returns or exchanges are possible only if the product has defects.
How to return a quality product: step-by-step instructions
If the buyer participates in the promotion, he can return the equipment only once.
The return procedure looks like this:
- Check whether the presentation is preserved.
- Choose a convenient store, come there with a receipt and passport. If there is no receipt, this is not a basis for refusing a return, but other evidence may be required confirming the purchase at Eldorado: a certificate from the bank, notes in the passport about the sale, operational documents. It is possible to involve witnesses.
- To write an application. It is filled in on the spot.
The money will be transferred within 10 days from the date of application. No examination of the goods is carried out.
List of documents for returning goods to Eldorado
To return/exchange goods, you must contact the store with the following package of documents:
- Application or certificate of return/exchange.
- Passport or other identification document.
- Receipt confirming the purchase.
- Warranty sheet.
- Factory packaging.
Refunds are made to the card or bank details that the buyer indicated in the application. Return period is 10 days.

According to Art. 18 of Law No. 2300-1, the buyer has the right to demand the replacement of equipment with goods of the same brand, a reduction in cost, free elimination of defects, and a full refund of the amount paid.

The list of technically complex goods is established by Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of November 10, 2011 No. 924:

- Freezers, refrigerators, stoves;
- Washing machines and dishwashers;
- Laptops, desktop PCs, system units.
Important! Any equipment with defects can be returned, provided that the defects were caused by the fault of the seller or manufacturer. If the buyer is at fault and this is established by an examination, it will not be possible to get the money back.
Equipment with defects is examined within 45 days.
How to return defective equipment: step-by-step instructions
Having identified defects, the consumer needs to contact Eldorado with the product and demand a refund or replacement with similar equipment.
How to return goods:
- The client discovers a defect and brings the equipment to the store. Whenever possible, functionality and deficiencies are checked on site.
- The buyer draws up a return application, the goods are transferred to the seller according to the acceptance certificate.
- If a manufacturing defect cannot be determined on site, the equipment is sent for examination.
- Based on an expert opinion confirming the presence of defects due to the fault of the seller or manufacturer, the buyer is refunded the money. The amount is equal to the cost spent upon purchase.
The money is transferred to the bank card from which the payment was made. If the client paid in cash, the same will be issued. The deadline for fulfilling the requirements is 10 days from the date of receipt of the expert opinion. If the examination was not carried out - from the moment the buyer applied.
Program conditions
